Dr. Sarah King, Ph.D., Psychologist

Dr. King is an experienced Clinical Psychologist in Lincoln, Nebraska. She has been in the mental health field for over twenty years and has contributed in various capacities. Dr. King earned a Bachelors degree from Doane College in 2008, a Masters Degree from UNL in 2011, and completed her doctorate degree from UNL in 2015. She has three children and enjoys being active in the outdoors. Some of her families favorite activities include swimming, going to farmers markets, and camping.
Dr. King provides a variety of assessments, mental health, and substance abuse services utilizing research-supported techniques and interventions. She specializes in psychological evaluations for neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism, ADHD), behavioral concerns, and also provides evaluations for overall diagnostic clarification.
Dr. King owns and operates the Behavioral Wellness Center. She has served on the Nebraska Psychological Association board in various roles since 2017. She has also been in an adjunct faculty role at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2020-2025 and provided supervision services for clinical and counseling/school psychology graduate students. She is a peer-reviewed author and continues to stay current on many areas of psychology, including ADHD, Autism, and other areas of neurodivergence.
